Hi, I’m Shumana Akta — founder and lead educator behind Camp Evolve International. I create immersive learning environments where young people grow in confidence, independence, and communication.
My teaching journey began in Barcelona in 2013 and has since taken me across Europe and Asia, working with private schools, language academies, and international camps. Today, I’m based in Sofia, Bulgaria, leading seasonal programmes for Camp Evolve International.
Alongside camp leadership, I’ve collaborated with institutions including the American College of Sofia and the NGO Dechitsa, and recently lectured at Sofia University, sharing insights into international education with future teachers.
With a background in Law (LLB) and a CELTA qualification, I bring structure, creativity, and purpose together — designing camp experiences that prepare young people to use English confidently in life.
